Communication – it is a choice!
“The most important things are the hardest to say, because words diminish them” – Stephen King
In our workshop, we believed that the truth gives power.
Hence, ensuring participants being real is the first step to unlock the potential of effective communication skill. Being real means being honest to ourselves. Once we are being honest to ourselves, we are reflecting on our own behaviours and increasing the significance of
self-awareness, especially on how we communicate with ourselves, then only to others. Every section in the workshop is designed to ensure participants to be more mindful about how emotion plays a role in any form of communication, be it verbal or non-verbal. Communication is an art. It is a skill that anyone could learn. We learn to communicate with ourselves, with others, with our loved ones, with our colleagues, team mates and basically just anyone! It is a lifelong learning journey to explore the creativity in communication. If we change the way we communicate, we will be able to achieve any relationship goals!
Communication skills play an important part in determining an individual’s work effectiveness and career success. Good communication skills are vital to strengthen relationships, eliminate costly misunderstandings, motivate employees and foster team work.
Unfortunately, many people never learned effective ways of communicating with others. Good communication does not come naturally for most people. Learning how to communicate in an open and healthy way is an essential component to growth and success.
During this interactive workshop, participants will learn the secrets of communication, including building personal credibility, delivering positive and negative feedback, improving listening skills, rephrasing for better relationships, dealing with difficult people, handling negative situations, and more.
